Courtney Rechtman , M.S., CCC-SLP
Courtney Rechtman is a Speech-Language Pathologist serving children in South Florida. She received her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida, and her M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from NOVA Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She is certified by ASHA (American Speech-Language Hearing Association) and licensed in Florida.
Her experience includes working with the pediatric population in a variety of therapeutic settingsincluding homecare, preschools, elementary schools and private practices. She conducts evaluation and treatment of children with a variety of speech and language needs, including:
- Articulation disorders
- Phonological process disorders
- Receptive/expressive language disorders
- Pragmatic language disorders
- Autism/ PDD- NOS
- Down’s Syndrome
- Other global developmental delays
Courtney has also attended trainings on sensory-motor feeding techniques, apraxia of speech, auditory processing and integrating iPads and technology into therapy. She has extensive experience working with PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) and AAC (Augmentative and alternative communication).
